The SyCara Basic and Pro packages are month to month. There is no contractual obligation or risk. Simply contact us prior to your next billing cycle date and we will cancel the account on the final date of your current billing cycle.

Is there a contract?

There is no contract to sign and no long term risk. You may opt to start with a small package offering then grow from there.

How often are rankings processed?

We offer flexibility for determining when reports process. Most importantly you will know when the data has been processed.

Pricing is based on a “ranking” which is a result for one keyword on one day for one search engine. This provides all the flexibility for you to determine if you want multiple search engine results; weekly/monthly/bi-monthly reports; or an option that best works for your needs. For example, the Basic Starter package with up to 1,000 rankings per month allow results for 500 keywords on 2 search engines 1 time per month, OR 250 keywords on 1 search engine on a weekly basis. Additional rankings per month will be charged as an overage the following month at $0.06 per ranking. Overage charges are issued and sent to your Account Administrator so that you know what you are paying for.

Why should I use SyCara versus another provider?

SyCara provides much more than SERP data. Currently, there is a lot of chatter in the industry surrounding SERPs. Although the actual strategy and technical work behind SEO does not rely on SERP data, this is still a relevant data metric that can help identify aspects of the success of an overall SEO strategy. While rankings do not reflect the ultimate goal of traffic conversions, it is still an important factor in understanding and teaching your end clients about SEO. Part of SyCara’s offering allows you to take multiple, important data metrics and see how they align with each other as a KPI as well as a training implement. Understanding the relative patterns behind off page and on page actions in relation to your traffic and rankings are the ultimate.

How reliable is SyCara’s data?

SyCara’s data is monitored both automatically with our technology as well as random human validation to ensure that the constant changes of search engine technology does not have a negative impact on the reliability and accuracy of our data.

Can I import historical data into SyCara?

Yes, the Pro package will allow traffic data integration via Google Analytics. Ranking data or SERPs cannot currently be imported. However, SyCara will store data that is processed and allow for historical trending. Length of time that historical data is maintained may vary based on the current Terms of Service.

Can I depend on SyCara’s data in the future?

SyCara has no intention of limiting or altering its current data integrity and offerings. Any such changes in the future will be headed up with timely notification to ensure there are no surprises. Of course, for the data metrics that rely on third parties, we cannot speak for changes they make to data or technology on their side.

What is “Local Organic”? “Local Maps”?

SyCara has the ability to offer Local Organic and Local Maps data. Both are City-State or Zip Code targeted – without altering the original keyword phrase.

Local Organic is distinct from the previously reigning “seven-pack” format of localized results. Today, search engines return this format of data as a Universal – Local type of data. Local Organic is distinct in that it more closely reflects an actual organic result versus a universal result.

Local Maps is our newest offering to give you the actual Maps SERP data. This is a key data metric that almost no other provider is offering to date. This is highly recommended for localized campaigns and any Site with a brick and mortar storefront.

Do you offer any discounts?

Both our Basic and Pro packages offer a pre-pay option that allow you to pay for 12 months and receive 2 additional months for free. Payment is due up front, and the 2 free months will extended the expiration date beyond your first 12 months. If service is cancelled within the first 11 months, then the additional 2 months of service will be invalid and the expiration adjusted appropriately based on your date of sign up.
